Just a quick stop today. So we all know that Lady Gaga likes to wear unusual things, right? Meat dress, anyone? (Ah, I love Lady Gaga.) And many of us are writers/artists of some kind, are we not? And in true artistic fashion, do we not have our quirks?
For instance, I wear weird stuff to work sometimes (for example: nothing. I've said this before, I do sometimes get undressed for a shower, then remember an idea, and start writing and before I know it, I'm working naked for hours...) and I'm sure I'm not the only one out there. Anyone else? No? Don't be shy!
So I love this Guardian article. Blog-friend and reader Alesa sent me the link several days ago and I decided I had to share it.

Haha, I've done the pre shower thing, too. Love Lady Gaga and your blog's new look!
ReplyDeleteUnless I was writing in bed, I wasn't naked! Now of course everyone knows I sleep in the buff...
ReplyDeleteI could hang out around the house in my pjs all day. But at some point I usually take them off and put on a house rag, something that isn't fit to be seen in public but which is delightfully comfortable.
ReplyDeleteI'd stick to my chair if I tried to write in the buff, so I do put on some comfy clothes.
ReplyDeleteI can't imagine that writing whilst in the nip is very comfy. Or indeed particularly hygenic on your soft furnishings! The special writing outfit that the article mentions does intrigue me though - what on earth would it consist of? I hope a large floppy hat features somewhere.
ReplyDeleteIspirations come anytime.
ReplyDeleteI have let my tea go cold (someone who likes to have the tea piping hot)
